PumpTec Pump Priming Procedure

A couple of steps will help the priming process on a dry pump.
  • 1. Attach an open QC to the pump outlet.
  • 2. Fill the machine solution tank to the top.
  • 3. Turn on vacuums and place the vac hose cuff over the open QC.
    Seal it off against the machine face, or with a towel.
  • 4. Turn the pump on & off a few times (for a few seconds).
  • Usually, that will prime the pump.
  • If that doesn't work, you can "force-prime" the pump with a running garden hose, and open QC.
